Brodgar leads the Palm Sunday Procession

Stanton Drew and I have just returned from leading this morning’s Palm Sunday procession.  Lovely, jolly Penny and Ashley asked if we could bring a bit of camel to church and ‘Hosanna!’ we were delighted to.

The congregation met at the Church and with lots of lovely singing we processed through the village taking in stops at other churches.  People carried little crosses made of palm leaf which Stan tried to nibble but it was drier than hay so he left it alone.

For much of the walk I walked alongside a little girl and we got on really well.  She was very happy and spent all her time smiling.

Returning to the Church the congregation made their way in and stood in the pews.  We followed and I walked up to the altar had a good look around and then walked back to where Stan was waiting for me.

We left the Church with our people and walked home to the farm to tell the gang all about our adventure.
